I was forced to learn the recorder as a child
If you were ever forced to learn the recorder as a child jump on this BAND wagon, and join our group.
You know you were forced to play recorder as a child if…
1.) You played “Hot Cross Buns” and you were damn good at it.
2.) It was cool to learn how to play “My Heart Will Go On.”
3.) You auditioned for a solo you didn’t get.
4.) You had a case for your recorder.
5.) That case broke.
6.) In your class there were kids who just sucked at playing recorder.
7.) You were one of those kids.
8.) There were times you forgot your recorder and sadly watched on the sidelines as others play their recorders.
9.) Your teacher was ridiculous at the recorder.
10.) You blew into your recorder in stead of using the “TP” method.
11.) When the whole class played if you sucked that bad you faked it and just moved your fingers!
12. Your teacher had a crazy amount of recorders in a cubord and when you forgot yours she made you wipe one down with a achohol pad and use it.
